Dear Reader,
Today I want to talk about IonQ. We’ve had a ton of folks writing in about it.
IonQ (SYM: IONQ) is a stock we recommended a few months back at about $8 a share.
Friday it jumped 20% to $9.71 on news it bagged a $54.5 million contract with the U.S. Airforce to push quantum systems through the Airforce and through the rest of the military.
This is a big deal.

The Only AI Stock You Need
If you want the potential for huge gains with AI stocks… Ignore 99% of the market.
All these stocks jumping on the AI bandwagon will NOT make you rich.
However, this one stock stands head and shoulders above everything else.
It’s currently trading for only $15… and may be the last retirement stock you’ll ever need.

This shows:
- that IonQ has the goods relative to its competitors and
- that the U.S. military is taking quantum computing very seriously for national security purposes, as they should.
For those of you who don’t understand what quantum computing is – you’re not alone.
I really couldn’t understand the science behind it – but here are a few things that have always helped me understand it a little differently…
A “classical computer” is any computer that is not “quantum.”
That means, basically, every computer on earth, from your laptop to the biggest, fastest supercomputer on the planet.
These are all classical computers.
And any classical computer, including the world’s fastest supercomputer – can only do one task at a time.
A quantum computer can perform millions of tasks at a time by using “qubits.” My team and I put together this report on exactly how it all works: Quantum AI: 3 Stocks that will Drive the Second Wave of the AI Revolution.
A classical computer thinks in ones and zeros. Quantum computers think of all solutions simultaneously – not binary ones or zeros.
To give you an idea of how incredible this technology is…
A quantum computer is 158 million times faster than the fastest supercomputer on the planet right now.
It’s so powerful it could complete a task in four years that would take a supercomputer 1,000 years to do.
Now, why is this so very important?
Especially for the U.S. military?
Because the first country to harness quantum computing will be able to break any encryption from any adversary, almost instantaneously.
So basically, all messages would be readable.
Now, you know how important secrecy is, especially in warfare!
Of course, likewise, if China had the first quantum computer, they’d be able to break all of our encryption.
If there ever becomes a conflict between the U.S. and China, if one of the countries says to the other country…
“Hey, look – we’ve already broken all of your encryption – there’s no need to even fight this war. We know what you’re going to do as soon as you know what you’re going to do.”
That could save a lot of bloodshed.
The country that figures out quantum computing first will have a serious advantage for a very long time. Kind of like the country that developed nuclear weapons first had the run of the show for about 10 years.
Winning at quantum computing is that important.
So the U.S. and China, the U.K., Europe, everybody’s rushing to win at quantum computing.
And IonQ is one of the leaders in the group.
They’ve partnered with everybody huge – Nvidia, Airbus, Amazon, Microsoft, Google Cloud, you name it.
We don’t think this single Airforce contract is a game-changing win for IonQ – it just means that they are getting cast for bigger roles and they seem to be (so far) leading this generation of independent quantum computing startups.
So, we’re happy for the company and we’re certainly happy for the U.S. military that they’re taking this very, very seriously, finally!
Again, my team and I put together a super in-depth research report on quantum computing, why AI needs this advancement right now, and the three stocks we believe will win the battle for supremacy in the space.
You can get it all right here: Quantum AI: 3 Stocks that will Drive the Second Wave of the AI Revolution.
“The Buck Stops Here,”
P.S. Dell’s CTO predicts quantum AI will take off this year.
The last time we saw a technological advance of this magnitude, a school teacher turned $100 into $357,000.
This time, the profits could be even bigger.
