Independent Investment Research Since 2018
Behind the Markets publishes independent investment research — daily market updates, weekly videos and monthly research reports — covering opportunities Wall Street overlooks.
When it comes to separating propaganda from news, most investors don't even stand a chance. With the rise of social networks, today's investment propaganda is more sophisticated than ever. That means the investments they recommend are more dangerous than ever.
In-depth analysis of high-potential opportunities
Regular video breakdowns of market trends
Daily, weekly and monthly insights and alerts

Dylan has spent more than 30 years helping individual investors find opportunities Wall Street overlooks.
He began his career in 1995 as founder of Lexington Capital Partners, a money management firm later sold to Silver Capital. In 2004 he founded Tycoon Publishing, which he sold to Agora in 2011, and from 2011 to 2013 he served as CEO of the Institute for Individual Investors.
In 2018 he founded Behind the Markets to give everyday investors the kind of independent, in-depth research usually reserved for Wall Street's biggest clients.
I believe the best investment opportunities are found where Wall Street isn't looking.

CEO & Founder
Our attitude toward Wall Street is one of general skepticism. We believe most financial advisors are too expensive, too biased, and more concerned with selling products than helping clients.
We have zero interest in investment banking or public relations. We will never accept payment to recommend a stock to you. Period.
We research companies selling for a significant discount to what our analysts conclude the underlying business is worth.
We primarily look for small-midcap companies with high returns-on-equity, low debt, and a durable competitive advantage.
Wall Street reserves the best opportunities for their biggest clients. We believe every investor deserves access to premium research.
Wall Street breaks customers down into what they call "Books." The biggest customers are in the "A-Book," middle-sized customers are in the "B-Book," and the smallest customers make up the "C-Book."
Customers in the "A-Book" get invited into all the best deals and hottest IPOs. Customers in the "B-Book" occasionally get a taste of the hot stuff, but never more than just enough to keep them around.
Do you know what customers in the "C-Book" get? They get a call from their broker when it's time for the "A-Book" to sell their stocks.
Wall Street spends every day focused on the same 500 or so large-cap stocks. We believe the best investment opportunities are found in the 13,500 stocks Wall Street doesn't focus on.
