Did You Buy the Dips in Drone Stocks?
In late August, we highlighted a fresh opportunity in three hot drone stocks that were quietly setting up for takeoff.
At the time, AeroVironment (SYM: AVAV) traded around $240. A few weeks later, it was flying high at $391.88. Ondas Holdings (SYM: ONDS) took off from $4.55 to $11.63, and Draganfly (SYM: DPRO) jumped from $4.25 to $11.37.
In short, each of these drone stocks has been nothing short of explosive.
But here’s the thing — after such rapid moves, they’ve also become a bit overbought in the near term. So if you’re thinking about getting in now, the best move may be to wait for a healthy pullback before starting or adding to a position.
Long term, however, we believe these drone names could double or even triple from current levels.
Here’s why.
1. The Trump Administration’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” Could Be a Game-ChangerUnder the Trump administration’s new “One Big Beautiful Bill” initiative, billions in federal funding are being unleashed to supercharge U.S. drone production and reduce dependence on foreign-made components. This sweeping legislation provides $33 billion in direct spending for advanced drones, autonomous systems, and broader U.S. defense modernization. It’s designed to make the skies safer, strengthen supply chains, and accelerate the domestic manufacturing boom that has been gaining momentum across the U.S. Among its key goals:
According to The White House, “The United States must accelerate the safe commercialization of drone technologies and fully integrate UAS into the National Airspace System. The time has come to scale up domestic production and expand the export of trusted, American-manufactured drone technologies to global markets.” In other words, the government wants to see American-made drones dominate both at home and abroad, and it’s willing to spend heavily to make that happen. That’s a massive tailwind for companies like AeroVironment, Ondas, and Draganfly — each of which has established credibility in either defense, logistics, or industrial drone technology. |

SHOCK THE WORLD”
It could single-handedly reshape the global order… dramatically increase U.S. power… and trigger a massive American market boom the likes of which we haven’t seen in 75 years.
2. New Defense Policies Are Fueling Rapid Growth in U.S. Drone ManufacturingAdding to the momentum, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth recently issued a directive titled “Unleashing U.S. Military Drone Dominance.” The policy aims to make it easier for American drone companies, particularly those producing affordable Group 1 and Group 2 systems, to sell directly to the U.S. military. These systems are smaller, more tactical drones ideal for frontline deployment, surveillance, and logistics. Historically, smaller defense technology firms have been bogged down by slow-moving procurement processes, strict certification barriers, and costly compliance timelines like those under the Blue UAS program. Hegseth’s directive cuts through much of that bureaucracy, allowing faster approval cycles and direct contracting opportunities for companies that can prove innovation, security, and reliability. This shift is a huge win for mid-cap drone makers like AeroVironment and Draganfly, which specialize in defense-grade unmanned aerial systems (UAS). It opens the door to a wave of new military contracts, technology partnerships, and scale-up opportunities. If history is any guide, every time the Pentagon streamlines procurement — whether it’s in AI, robotics, or surveillance — the companies ready to deliver see outsized returns. |

Q4 is crypto's money season – why this year is different
October, November, December... crypto's money months are here.
Q4 has historically been crypto's strongest quarter, with Bitcoin alone averaging massive gains during Uptober and MoonVember.
But Q4 2025 isn't just another seasonal play.
This time, we have the perfect storm:
✓ Fed rate cuts creating unprecedented liquidity
✓ 90+ altcoin ETFs pending approval with 90-95% odds
✓ Institutional adoption at all-time highs
✓ Political crypto support stronger than ever
Historical patterns suggest Bitcoin could surge in Q4, potentially reaching $160,000+. But that's just the beginning.
3. New FAA Rule to “Unleash” Drone InnovationThe policy tailwinds don’t end with defense. In late September, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced a new proposed rule under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that could change the drone industry forever. The proposed regulation — called “Beyond Visual Line of Sight” (BVLOS) — aims to expand the operational freedom of drones in commercial, industrial, and agricultural settings. If finalized, BVLOS will allow drones to fly autonomously without the need for direct human observation, enabling industries like delivery, surveying, construction, and energy inspection to scale like never before. According to the Department of Transportation, the rule is designed to “safely integrate unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system, unlocking innovation and expanding commercial use cases.” For context, companies like Amazon, UPS, and Walmart have long lobbied for this type of regulatory reform to enable large-scale drone delivery operations. Now, that vision is inching closer to reality — and the companies building the hardware, communications systems, and autonomous software will likely be the biggest beneficiaries. This is where Ondas Holdings shines. Its industrial-grade wireless communications platforms are used in drone infrastructure networks, enabling long-range, reliable connectivity — a key requirement under the BVLOS framework. 4. Why Drone Stocks Are Still a Long-Term BuyWhile many of these names have already made big short-term moves, the long-term potential for U.S. drone stocks remains immense. Here’s the bigger picture:
With bipartisan support for reshoring advanced manufacturing and securing domestic supply chains, U.S.-based drone makers are positioned to dominate this next era of aviation. So while we wouldn’t chase these stocks after such a rapid rally, a healthy pullback could offer an excellent entry point for long-term investors. If the U.S. drone boom continues — and all signs suggest it will — the next leg higher could be even more explosive. |
