Why 2026 Could Be the Breakout Year for These 3 Stocks - 11/21

The Top 3 Quantum Stocks to Buy for 2026

Every few decades, a breakthrough technology reshapes the world and redefines what’s possible. We saw it with personal computers in the 1980s, the Internet in the 1990s, smartphones in the 2000s, and artificial intelligence in the 2020s. Each wave brought exponential gains for early investors who positioned themselves before mainstream adoption.

Now, quantum computing is emerging as the next revolutionary step — a technology with the potential to outperform today’s most advanced supercomputers by orders of magnitude. Unlike classical machines, which process data in binary bits, quantum computers use qubits capable of representing multiple states simultaneously. That leap opens the door to solving problems previously considered impossible or impractically time-consuming.

    Quantum Computing’s Transformational Potential

One of the most promising areas of disruption is drug discovery. Traditional pharmaceutical research relies heavily on trial-and-error testing, which can take years and cost billions. Quantum computing upends that model by allowing scientists to simulate molecules with astonishing precision.

To put the scale into perspective: simulating a single molecule with just 70 atoms would take a classical computer up to 13 billion years, according to ZDNet. A quantum computer could perform the same calculation in minutes. That kind of acceleration could revolutionize medicine, dramatically reducing R&D costs and bringing life-saving treatments to market much faster.

XRP Exposure: No Keys, No Wallets, Just a Ticker

Every generation of markets rewards one kind of infrastructure.

The 1990s belonged to the internet.
The 2010s belonged to cloud computing.
The 2020s belong to real-time finance.

A brand-new US ETF just listed to capture that transformation. It tracks a payment rail that settles value in 3 to 5 seconds,  with consistent, transparent fees.

You don’t need a wallet or a crypto exchange. You simply trade a ticker.

Institutional custody and administration keep the structure familiar. The single-asset focus and 0.50% fee keep it clean.*

It’s the opposite of hype: a tool built for function.

When similar funds launched, investors poured in. Bitwise’s Solana product opened strong with roughly $55 million on day one, nine-figure assets in weeks. Those flows showed Wall Street wants digital exposure that fits compliance, not chaos.

Now that same model targets the payments lane, the one used daily by fintechs, treasuries, and cross-border networks.

If you think money should move as fast as data, this ETF is the most direct way to hold that view.

    A Multitude Of Applications

Quantum’s applications don’t stop at healthcare. Industries poised for transformation include:

    • Cybersecurity – Quantum algorithms may one day crack modern encryption standards or create unhackable communication networks.

    • Artificial intelligence – Faster optimization and machine learning acceleration.

    • Logistics and transportation – Advanced modeling to optimize routes, supply chains, and resource allocation.

    • Energy – Quantum simulations to design better batteries, grid systems, and renewable technologies.

    • Financial services – More accurate risk analysis, portfolio optimization, and fraud detection.

Major corporations and governments are already investing heavily to seize the competitive edge. IBM plans $150 billion in U.S. quantum and AI investments over the next five years. Nvidia continues to pour funding into quantum startups to support next-generation hardware and software.

With the groundwork being laid, 2026 could be a pivotal year — which brings us to three standout quantum stocks positioned for potential long-term growth.

    Company: D-Wave Quantum (SYM: QBTS)

D-Wave Quantum remains one of the highest-profile players in the quantum industry, and its momentum has accelerated dramatically over the last year. Now valued at more than $7.64 billion, the company is making aggressive moves to expand both its commercial footprint and government partnerships.

Recently, D-Wave secured an €10 million ($11.5 million) investment from Swiss Quantum Technology to deploy its cutting-edge Advantage2 system across Europe. This marks a significant step in building international access to D-Wave’s hardware and quantum-as-a-service solutions.

One of the company’s strongest growth drivers is its partnership with Davidson Technologies, which enables D-Wave systems to tackle advanced computational problems for U.S. government agencies — particularly in defense modeling, simulation, and optimization tasks that classical computers can’t efficiently solve.

Operationally, the company is firing on all cylinders. D-Wave reported strong momentum across all major business metrics:

    • Revenue grew to $3.7 million in Q3 FY2025 — a 100% increase year-over-year.

    • Bookings increased by 80% quarter over quarter.

    • Gross profits expanded alongside rising enterprise adoption.

    • The company maintains a healthy cash balance of $836.2 million, up from $819.3 million the prior quarter.

With growing enterprise deals, rising recurring revenue, and expanding global deployments, D-Wave remains one of the most compelling quantum computing stocks heading into 2026.

The Fed's Silent Tax Just Hit Your Savings Again...

What if the biggest threat to your retirement isn't Wall Street or China — but Washington? While they distract you with headlines, the real theft happens quietly: every time the Fed adjusts inflation or Congress adds another trillion in debt. The dollar's decline isn't a glitch — it's the plan. There's a move Washington hopes you ignore — the same one billionaire insiders like Ray Dalio and Jim Rickards are making: shifting into real assets that can't be printed away…gold. Company: IonQ, Inc. (SYM: IONQ)

IonQ has become one of the most widely recognized quantum stocks — and for good reason. Shares have seen major rallies in recent years as the company hits key milestones, secures government partnerships, and continues to scale its trapped-ion quantum hardware.

According to B. Riley Securities, IonQ’s technology roadmap and high-value contracts could substantially increase the company’s valuation in the coming years. One of the biggest catalysts is its work with Vector Atomics, which boosted IonQ’s government pipeline from $100 million to an expected $300 million.

IonQ’s financial performance also continues to exceed expectations:

    • Q3 results showed a loss of 17 cents, beating Wall Street estimates by 3 cents.

    • Revenue soared 221.5% year-over-year to $39.87 million, beating estimates by nearly $13 million.

    • The company lifted its full-year revenue outlook to $110 million at the high end.

IonQ also maintains strategic collaborations with Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and national labs — all of which strengthen its position in the enterprise and public-sector markets.

With a strong balance sheet, rapidly growing commercial demand, and long-term government contracts, IonQ stands out as one of the most advanced and financially resilient quantum computing companies heading into 2026.

    Company: Rigetti Computing (SYM: RGTI)

While smaller than its peers, Rigetti is quickly proving that it belongs among the leaders in quantum computing. The company recently announced the sale of two Novera quantum computing systems for $5.7 million, demonstrating that Rigetti’s hardware is commercially viable and in demand.

The company’s technological roadmap is equally impressive. Rigetti plans to deploy:

    • A 150+ qubit system by the end of 2026, with 99.7% median 2-qubit fidelity

    • A 1,000+ qubit system by the end of 2027, with 99.8% fidelity

If achieved, these milestones would position Rigetti as a direct competitor to IonQ, IBM, and other quantum leaders.

Adding to the momentum, Rigetti recently secured a three-year, $5.8 million contract with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to advance superconducting quantum networking technologies. Government partnerships like this tend to offer long-term revenue stability and significant branding credibility.

With growing contracts, substantial system upgrades underway, and accelerating government interest, Rigetti could be one of the top quantum growth stories of 2026.
