Our Top Performing Service of 2025

    Dear Reader,

    Happy Monday.

Today is December 29th, and I want to do something I believe is incredibly important in this business:

Look you straight in the eye, tell the truth, celebrate the wins, admit the mistakes, and stay accountable.

Today we’re reviewing the 2025 performance of Breakthrough Wealth.

And like every real investing year, there was good, bad, and ugly.

Let’s start with the ugliest stupidity of the year…

The dumbest move I made in Breakthrough Wealth this year was recommending we sell GE Vernova. We recommended it originally at $248. I issued the sell at $420 for a very respectable 70% gain… and of course, it then marched straight to $600. That one stung. Not because we didn’t profit – but because we left an enormous amount on the table. Sometimes you just miss it. You make a judgment call, you protect a gain, and the market reminds you that perfection isn’t on the menu in this business.

    But here’s the good news…

Despite the missteps, the average gain on all closed trades this year was 50.58%.

    That’s not theory. That’s not cherry-picking. That’s independently verified.

And while it’s a bit lower than the 59.31% average gain we posted last year, I’m certainly not losing any sleep over 50% average gains.

That’s real money. And it came from real winners.

We had some absolutely incredible successes this year.

We sold half of our Grail position for a 458% gain. That one happened recently and it was absolutely fantastic. Smartrent delivered a 70% win. Kratos Defense allowed us to sell half for a 144% gain. A number of the gold plays originally tied back to our Prepare for War thesis paid off beautifully. Oscar Health? We exited in January for a 127% gain. IonQ delivered a 256% return.

    That’s real performance.

But this isn’t fantasy camp — so let’s talk about the losers too.

Asana… that one hurt. Down 39%. I missed it. Great product, great platform — we literally use the software — but we completely missed the AI rotation from a stock perspective. That’s on me.

Murphy Oil… down 24%. Mistimed. Misjudged. No excuses.

Bill Holdings… we tied up capital for two years to basically break even. That’s not a loss in dollars, but it’s a loss in opportunity cost — which matters.

Pinterest… down 11%. Another one I wish I’d handled better.

When all is said and done, that’s four losers out of thirty closed trades.

That’s roughly a 75% win rate — and after 30+ years in this business, I’ll tell you plainly:

If you can’t maintain around a 70–75% win rate with 30–50% average returns over time, you shouldn’t be managing anyone’s money… including your own.

A quick word on honesty and measurement.

Plenty of firms in this industry love to brag about performance while quietly hiding behind “creative math.” I’ve seen publishers who claim 50% average returns while every stock in their portfolio is bleeding red — except one singular trade like Bitcoin from 2015 that skewed the average.

    That’s not how we operate.

We hire Conrad Mattern, a respected, independent third-party professional who audits financial publishers and asset managers. He tracks every buy, every sell, every timestamp, every position. He calls balls and strikes. And the numbers you’re reading today? They’re his.

There is no hiding. There is no airbrushing. There is no make-believe.

    Now let’s zoom out…

Breakthrough Wealth wasn’t always this strong.

We launched with the idea of being primarily a microcap service. Frankly? We struggled to find our footing. The early years proved it:
    2019: 12%

    2020: 18%

    2021: 24%

    And 2022?

We took a brutal 94% loss on one position. That number is ugly. No sugar coating. No excuses. It forced a reckoning.

    I sat back and said:

“Okay Dylan… this isn’t good enough. Either evolve this service… or you don’t deserve to run it.”

So we pivoted. Instead of just “micro caps,” Breakthrough Wealth became about smaller companies changing the world sitting in front of massive geopolitical and technological trends. Once we aligned strategy with reality…

    Everything changed.

    2023: 29.2%

    2024: 59%

    2025: 50%

That’s not luck — that’s growing up as a service. That’s adapting. That’s respecting the market instead of forcing a narrative onto it.

And I’ll tell you something very personal…

I don’t play this game for ego or bragging rights. I play to get better. To become more skilled. To sharpen the craft. To build something we can be genuinely proud of.

    Breakthrough Wealth found its identity.

And when it did, performance followed.

So as I look at 2026 and beyond, I feel excited — not arrogant, not complacent — but energized, disciplined, and deeply focused.

And if you aren’t a Breakthrough Wealth member yet, but want to join our top performing service of 2025….

There’s no better time than now to get started.

Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for walking the journey with us. Thank you for allowing us to prove, year after year, through good times and bad, that this work matters and the numbers back it up.

    That’s all for today.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday.

    I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
