Targeting stocks with recently announced buyback programs can be beneficial for investors. Buyback programs can be seen as a signal of confidence by the company’s management in the future prospects of the business. When a company announces a buyback program, it indicates that it believes its stock is undervalued and that it has excess cash available to repurchase shares, which can be interpreted as a positive sign for investors. Buybacks can also potentially increase the value of the remaining shares by reducing the total number of shares outstanding, which could lead to higher earnings per share and potentially higher stock prices.

Description: Align Technology, Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets Invisalign clear aligners, and iTero intraoral scanners and services for orthodontists and general practitioner dentists in the United States, Switzerland, China, and internationally. It operates in two segments, Clear Aligner; and Imaging Systems and CAD/CAM Services (Systems and Services). The Clear Aligner segment offers comprehensive products, including Invisalign comprehensive package that addresses the orthodontic needs of teenage patients, such as mandibular advancement, compliance indicators, and compensation for tooth eruption; and Invisalign First Phase I and Invisalign First Comprehensive Phase 2 package for younger patients generally between the ages of seven and ten years, which is a mixture of primary/baby and permanent teeth. This segment’s non-comprehensive products comprise Invisalign moderate, lite and express packages, and Invisalign go and Invisalign Go Plus; and non-case products that include retention products, Invisalign training, and adjusting tools used by dental professionals during the course of treatment.
