Today, I want to dive into the "Buffett Indicator" and what it tells us about the stock market. This indicator, which compares the total market cap to GDP, is one Warren Buffett himself has cited as a key tool for determining whether the market is overvalued. Right now, the U.S. market cap is over 202% of GDP, which is higher than at any point since the 2000 dot-com bubble. While this doesn’t predict when a crash will happen, it’s a strong signal that the market is overvalued.
